With more than 40 years' experience in the building industry, I have consulted on various projects including new builds, refurbished buildings and extensions. I have worked across a variety of sectors including education, sports and entertainment, retail, hotels and resorts, commercial, industrial, residential, and heritage works. For the last 20 years, I have provided expert witness evidence in relation to over a hundred building disputes. I have appeared as an expert witness in Department of Fair Trading Tribunal matters, Local, District and Supreme Courts and Mediations and Arbitrations.

I have over 10 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in Australia and the UK. I have experience working on commercial, residential, retail, leisure, hospitality, healthcare, and education projects.  I have managed the preparation of tax depreciation schedules, insurance valuations and expert witness reports, prepared contract documents, completed progress claim assessments, agreed variation claims and negotiated final accounts. I was the Sustainability Lead at my last firm in the UK and I am interested in how the built and natural environments can co-exist.
